Creator Chris Carter is now giving it another chance with a director's cut titled The X Files: I Want to Believe – Vrach Frankenshteyn, which pushes the horror from PG 13 to R and explores themes hinted at in the original.
The new trailer promises a darker experience, with a greater emphasis on the "Frankenstein" elements central to the plot.
